My entire life, whether it’s been running track in college, coaching athletes, or training for the CrossFit Games, I’ve been lucky enough to be around people who push themselves to the limit every day. What I’ve found is that you can do that for a small amounts of time, but it’s like the old saying goes, “If you don’t program rest, then your body is going to do it for you.” Meaning you are going to run your body down to the point of getting sick or injured. It’s just the way it goes.
